Michael Palady

Designer

Michael Palady is a Furniture Design Apprentice working with Galante Design Studio. Michael works on various stages of furniture design, from digital CAD modeling to the final assembly of built pieces.

Originally from Texas, I earned my bachelor’s degree in architecture at Texas Tech University, with a minor in Anthropology and a certification in Ecological Architectural Design. This combination deepened his appreciation for the connections between culture, materials, and design. Michael is pursuing his master’s degree in architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology, with a working thesis titled “Navigating Otherness: Architecture as a Medium for reclaiming East Asian Identity.”  Michael is interested in becoming a certified architect, combining his knowledge of anthropology and design to create culturally significant architecture and designs.

Outside of work, Michael is an avid hiker who enjoys exploring the Appalachian Mountains and capturing landscapes through sketching and painting. His goal is to visit all 63 U.S. national parks — currently at 22 and counting!
