We are designing a full headquarters and maintenance facility for the Yankee Bus Line, a leading luxury coach company in Massachusetts that has a contract with the MBTA to provide free shuttle buses when designated train lines are shut down for track repair/reconstruction. This Randolph facility will have 24-hour maintenance service to serve one of New England’s busiest bus companies. It will be situated in an out-of-the-way bucolic setting so it won’t cause urban traffic congestion. It will feature skylights for daytime lighting and energy-efficiency, a locker room with designated lockers for the bus drivers, light-filled conference and cafeteria spaces, and a waiting room for passengers tastefully treated in a wood grille style as an introduction to the elegance of the luxury coaches themselves.
