Description

TGAS is currently working on constructing a new fire station in North Billerica. The project started as a feasibility study assessing the current station. It was found that the land where the current station is located could not be built on further due to protections by the conservation commission and sustainability groups.

Our firm then helped Billerica find and assess new sites, providing detailed reports and in-depth comparisons between each site, before deciding on the location at 176 Boston Road. The new station will include a decontamination area, bunk rooms, living quarters, office, and fitness area. The project is currently in design development and construction on the new two bay station will conclude early 2027.
