Our Story
The studio philosophy was envisioned by Ted Galante and formalized in 1998. Ted’s training as a life long maker set the environment for exploring program, space, light, and time through material research and development. Ideas quickly become tested in prototype form in our studio shop, turn into models, and drawings leading to complete understanding of a building and its place. Drawing is essential for an architecture studio, but here equally essential are welding, grinding, table saw work and the like. Clients gain full scale understanding of their projects through this unique process of design and buildings are more thoroughly developed as a result.
