Simona Bartali

Senior Designer

It took a book about the architecture of the ancient Romans  to inspire Simona to become an architect.  Her native nation’s old-world tradition proved to be the solid ground and building block for her career, learning from some of the world’s oldest existing structures. Her work in Italy focused on renovations and interior design for private houses. This, coupled with her creative imagination, made TGAS the perfect match for her talents.

In October 2020, she moved with her family to the United States. Now her goal is to learn the construction systems and the design methods used in New England, while blending them with the traditions she assimilated in her homeland, Florence. Her ultimate goal is to become Project Manager, but what drives her most of all are her lifelong love for architecture, her belief in architectural concepts, and in the teamwork needed to make them happen. Simona is particularly inspired by the Modern Movement in architecture and one of its masters, Le Corbusier, and she counts his 1952 building “Unité d’Habitation de Marseille” in France among her favorites. When she has more time, she hopes to pursue theater.
